After two years of dead-end jobs and unhappiness in my career, I finally have a new job that I am looking forward to! I am now employed by Haverstick Consulting (a Kratos company) in Indianapolis. This has the advantage of being closer to home than any of my previous employers (< 10 min commute) and has plenty of potential for me to excel and grow. Thanks to Tony Derscheid of Tridge Alliance for working with me for four years until we finally found the right position.
 
Save on Prescriptions

So, I was at CVS today and discovered something interesting that I decided to check into.  There is a nationwide program available (in partnership with specific counties) to help provide discounts on prescription drugs that are not covered by health insurance (regardless of if you actually have insurance or not).

Given the current state of health insurance in this country lately, and the fact that I, personally, could have saved $100's with such a program over the years, I felt it was worth a post.

So, my family has decided to officially begin boycotting "Made In China" products.  This is a rather challenging endeavor, especially with the Christmas holiday coming up.  Give this little test a try: next time you are in a Target, Walmart, Meijer, or some other superstore check every product to see where it was made.  So far, we have found only two brands of toys that are not made in China: Lego, and Playmobil.  (As a side note my wife and I just purchased a Playmobil nativity.  Yes, we are perpetual children.)
